Build a roofing system

How to bundle catalog items into a roofing system priced per square, so any job builds a full estimate by picking that system instead of rebuilding it.

   Open Systems

   Go to Systems under Manage. A system is a proposal template: the catalog items that apply, plus your price per square.

   Or import one from a proposal

   “Import a system from a proposal you already send” reads the system name, your price per square, the scope paragraph and what the price includes off an existing proposal, then matches the products against your catalog. Do the Catalog import first, so there is something to match against.

   Create a system

   Click “+ New system,” give it a Name (e.g. “Architectural shingle”), set the Price / square ($), a Description and a “Price includes” list, then check the catalog items it uses and click “Create system.”

   Reuse it everywhere

   Now any job can build a priced estimate by picking this system — no rebuilding. Edit or delete systems inline anytime.
