Branded proposals your customer signs on their phone
The quote that wins is usually the one that turned up first and looked like it came from a real company. A proposal takes a couple of taps off a finished estimate, and the customer signs it with a finger.
It goes out from your own phone
Being straight about this: RidgeSync does not run a mail server and does not send on your behalf. It writes the message and opens your phone's own text or email app with the link already in it, and you press send.
That is deliberate — a quote that arrives from your number, in the thread you were already in, gets opened. One that arrives from a no-reply address does not.
You know when it lands
Your phone buzzes the first time the customer opens the proposal, and again when they sign it. Following up stops being a guess about whether they ever saw it.
Signed means signed
The customer signs on their phone. Where you take a deposit, they initial that separately, so the deposit is not buried in the small print.
A signed proposal is what unlocks the material order — you cannot accidentally order a roof for a job nobody has agreed to.
They can ask questions without ringing you
The proposal page has an assistant on it that answers questions about that quote — what is included, what the warranty covers, what a line item means. It is scoped to that one quote and nothing else, so it cannot leak anything about your business or another customer.
Common questions
Does RidgeSync email the proposal for me?
No. It composes the message and hands it to your phone's own text or email app for you to send. Quotes that come from your own number get opened far more often than ones from a system address.
Is the signature legally binding?
It captures the signature, the name and the timestamp against that version of the proposal. Whether that satisfies a particular dispute is a question for your solicitor, as it is with any e-signature.
Can I take a deposit?
Yes — the deposit is initialled separately from the main signature so the customer has clearly agreed to it.
