Terms of Service

Last updated

These terms cover your use of RidgeSync — the roofing CRM, the websites it generates for you, and everything at ridgesync.co. Plain English, no tricks. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. What you are buying

A subscription to RidgeSync: a roofing CRM (leads, jobs, estimates, proposals, invoices, material orders, financials) and a lead-generating website published on a subdomain we give you or on a custom domain you own.

One price, $149 per month or $1,490 per year, covering your whole company. There are no per-user seats, no per-report fees and no feature tiers — every account gets every feature. Some screens are restricted to the admins on your account rather than every member; that is a permission boundary, not a paid upgrade.

We add and change features over time. We will not remove something you depend on without telling you first.

2. Your free trial

New companies get a 30-day free trial. We do not ask for a card to start it, and we do not charge you when it ends — the account simply stops until you choose a plan.

If you subscribe before the trial is over, the days you have left are carried onto the subscription. You are not charged twice for the same period.

Your data is not deleted when a trial ends. See "Getting your data out" below.

3. Paying

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Subscriptions renew automatically — monthly or yearly, whichever you chose — until you cancel. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies.

If a payment fails we will keep your account working while Stripe retries. If it keeps failing, the account moves to read-only rather than being deleted, and you can still export your data.

We have never raised the price on an existing subscriber. If we ever do, you will get at least 30 days' notice by email and the chance to cancel before it takes effect.

4. Cancelling

Cancel any time from your billing page. There is no contract, no notice period, and nobody to phone.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

See our Refund Policy for when money comes back.

5. Your data is yours

Everything you put into RidgeSync — customers, jobs, photos, quotes, invoices, financials — belongs to you. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it to train anybody's AI models.

We access your account data only to run the service, to fix a fault, or when you ask us to help with something.

Your generated website is yours to keep in the sense that the content is yours. It is published by our software, so it stops being served if you stop subscribing.

6. Getting your data out

You can export your financial ledger to CSV at any time, including after a trial or subscription has ended — the export is deliberately kept outside the paywall so you can never be locked away from your own records.

If you want a fuller copy of your account data, email us and we will send it within 30 days at no charge.

If you close your account, we keep your data for 30 days in case you come back, then delete it.

7. Using it properly

Do not use RidgeSync to break the law, to send messages people have not agreed to receive, to publish content you do not have the rights to, or to attack the service or other users.

You are responsible for what you publish on the website we generate for you, including any claims you make about your business, your licensing and your insurance.

You are responsible for keeping your login safe and for what the people you invite to your account do with it.

8. The AI features

RidgeSync uses AI to read measurement reports, draft copy, suggest material lists, caption photos and answer questions about your own data. AI gets things wrong.

Every AI output is a draft for you to check. Nothing is sent to a customer, ordered from a supplier, or billed without you reviewing it first. Prices, quantities and measurements in particular must be checked against the real roof and your real costs.

We are not liable for a quote, order or invoice you send without checking it.

9. Uptime and support

We aim to keep the service available and to answer support email within one business day. We do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee, and we are not liable for jobs lost during an outage.

Some parts of the app keep working without a signal and sync when you get one back. That is a convenience, not a promise — always confirm important work has saved.

10. Ending it

You can leave at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, does not pay, or puts the service or other customers at risk — we will tell you why and, where we reasonably can, give you a chance to fix it first.

If we close the service down entirely, we will give you at least 90 days' notice and a way to export everything.

11. The legal small print

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost jobs, lost data caused by something outside our control.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will email you at least 30 days beforehand.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms: ridgesyncrm@gmail.com. A person reads it and answers, usually within one business day.
