Built by a working roofing crew

RidgeSync exists because we were the customer first. We ran a roofing company on software that was clearly designed by people who had never stood on a roof with a tape measure and never had to explain a price to somebody at their kitchen table.

It charged per seat, so hiring made it more expensive. It charged per measurement report, so quoting more made it more expensive. The website was another subscription. The bits that would have actually saved us an evening — a metal cut list, a material order that knew our supplier’s part numbers, somewhere to put a receipt at nine at night — either did not exist or cost extra.

So we built the one we wanted. Every feature in it is something we needed on a real job, and it is priced the way we wished ours had been: one flat $149 a month, everybody on the account, nothing metered.

How we decide what to build

If it does not save a roofer time on a real job, it does not go in. That is most of the rule.

The rest of it is that we would rather tell you what the software does not do than have you find out in week three. Our pricing page has a list of things it deliberately does not do. Our comparison pages say where a competitor is the better buy, with their published prices and the date we checked them. That is not modesty — it is the only way a comparison is worth reading.

Who it is for

Residential roofing companies running roughly two to fifteen crew, doing shingle and metal, who want one flat bill and no surprises. If you are a one-person shop quoting a handful of roofs a year, there are cheaper ways to do it and we will say so. If you are a hundred-truck operation with a dedicated ops team, you want something heavier than us.

Talking to us

There is no sales team and no demo you have to sit through. There is a 30-day trial that does not ask for a card, and there is an email address that a person answers, usually within a business day.
