Invoicing and getting paid

The job is not finished when the skip goes. It is finished when the money is in. Invoicing reads from the job you already priced, so there is nothing to retype and nothing to get wrong.

Bill whoever is actually paying

Plenty of roofing invoices do not go to the person who lives in the house. Insurance work, landlords, property managers, a relative paying for a parent's roof — you can bill a different name and number from the one on the job without creating a second customer record.

See what is owed at a glance

Paid, part-paid and owed sit on one board rather than in your head. When something has been sitting too long, the AI drafts the chase message and you send it from your own phone.

A ledger your accountant will accept

Export the year to CSV and it comes out split the way books are actually kept: sales, materials, labour, other job costs, overhead, monthly bills and crew pay. Your accountant can work straight off it, and the crew payments are itemised per crew so the 1099s write themselves in January.

That export stays available even if your subscription lapses. Being locked away from your own records because a card expired is not something we are willing to do.

Common questions

Can I take card payments in RidgeSync?

Not today. RidgeSync does not process customer card or ACH payments — you invoice and get paid however you already do. Stripe is used only for your own RidgeSync subscription.

Can I export for QuickBooks?

Yes — the CSV ledger is laid out for it. There is no live two-way QuickBooks sync, and we would rather say so than imply one.

What happens to my records if I cancel?

The CSV export is deliberately outside the paywall, so you can pull your ledger out after a trial or a subscription ends. Ask us and we will send a fuller copy of your data too.
