Export a tax-ready P&L

How to pull a profit-and-loss out of RidgeSync for your accountant — sales, gross job profit, net profit and margin, plus a QuickBooks-friendly CSV.

3 min4 steps
  1. 1

    Open Financials

Go to Financials and pick the year. You’ll see Sales, Gross job profit, Net profit and Net margin, plus a P&L breakdown and a monthly table. Admin only — a member sees “Financials is for admins.”

  2. 2

    Read the breakdown

“P&L breakdown” runs Total sales, less “Job costs (materials + crew + other),” to Gross job profit, less “Overhead (one-time)” and “Monthly bills,” to Net profit.

  3. 3

    Export CSV

Click “Export CSV” to download an accountant/QuickBooks-friendly ledger (Financials-<year>.csv) with income and expense rows and totals.

  4. 4

    Hand it off

Send the file to your accountant — no spreadsheet wrangling.

Good to know
  • A job is counted in the year it was CLOSED, not the year it was created — completed jobs only.
