The “Ask your books” box sits under the year heading, above your totals.

Ask it the way you'd ask a bookkeeper: “what was my best month this year?”, “which jobs made the least profit?”, “who still owes me money?”, “what am I spending the most on?”

Read the answer
It answers from your actual rows, naming the specific jobs, invoices or months where that's more useful than a total.
Good to know
- It only uses YOUR data — the jobs, invoices, payments and expenses on your account. It won't guess, and it says so when a question can't be answered from what's there.
- The figures match the Financials page exactly: completed jobs only, booked to the date they closed.
- It isn't an accountant. Ask it what your numbers say; ask your accountant what to do about them.
