Connect your own domain

How to point your own domain at your RidgeSync site: connect it in Settings, add the DNS record at your registrar, and wait for SSL to be issued.

   Open your website address settings

   Go to Settings → the “Your website address” section. Your free name.ridgesync.co address shows as “Live.”

   Connect your domain

   Under “Use your own domain,” type the domain you own (for example, acmeroofing.com) and click “Connect.”

   Add the DNS record

   RidgeSync shows a DNS card with the exact Type, Name/Host and Value. At your registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains…), add that record.

   Wait for DNS + SSL

   The status shows “Waiting for DNS,” then turns to “Connected” (green) once it verifies. HTTPS/SSL is issued automatically.
